The death of eccentric 75-year-old cybersecurity tycoon John McAfee has sparked much controversy and speculation since his death. Now McAfee’s widow, Janice McAfee, speaks out and does not believe the mainstream media reports of her husband’s suicide. McAfee also reportedly had a suicide note in his pocket when he was found dead in a Spanish prison cell.

On June 23, according to reports from Spain, John McAfee was found dead in a prison on the outskirts of Barcelona. Hours before his alleged death, the Spanish court ruled in favor of McAfee’s extradition to the United States, where he was charged with tax evasion. The El Pais publication stated at the time of death that prison medical services were trying to resuscitate him when prison guards found McAfee hanged in his cell but failed.
Now, 14 days later, McAfee is said to have had a suicide note with him before his death. An unnamed source, unable to divulge the text in the alleged note, said investigators have still not completed the investigation into McAfee’s death. When McAfee’s widow and Spanish attorney Javier Villalba heard about the note through the media, Villalba said authorities had never told the family about McAfee’s alleged suicide note.
While there are numerous conspiracy theories surrounding McAfee’s death, his widow Janice McAfee published a letter she wrote wrote on twitter.
“I can’t describe this pain at all,” says the wife of the antivirus tycoon tweeted. “Everyone who really loved John feels that. Since the news of John’s death, I’ve struggled to write this tweet. I still can’t believe he’s really gone. I miss you and I will love you forever John David. “

“The story of John’s ‘suicide’ was prepared and presented to the public before I or his lawyers were even informed of his death. Words cannot describe how angry I am that I heard the news of John’s death via DM on Twitter, ”said Janice McAfee’s statement. “And now it is conveniently reported that a ‘suicide note’ was found in his pocket that was not mentioned when I was picking up John’s things from prison and some other piece of information that the media somehow got their hands on before me and John’s lawyers . “,” She added.

John’s wife said her husband “should never have spent a day in jail, let alone nearly nine months.” Her letter went on to emphasize that McAfee was a fighter and that he “had so much more fighting in him.”

A spokesman for the Catalonia investigation team told the press that a forensic team was working on the case.
