Pro-Bitcoin U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis plans to buy the dip

US Senator Cynthia Lummis from Wyoming commented on the falling Bitcoin price in an interview with Fox Business on Tuesday. She was asked how she would bring the price of Bitcoin below $ 30,000. The senator replied:

I’m really looking forward to it because as soon as it drops a little more, I’ll buy more.

She then told a story of another investment she had made earlier. “My favorite stock that I own is a company called United Rentals. I bought it and it fell like a stone. I’ve stuck to it and … it has worked wonderfully for me over the years. And I see Bitcoin doing the same because the fundamentals are good. “

Senator Lummis was also asked if she wanted some sort of regulation for Bitcoin. “I do,” she confirmed. “I want to have a level playing field.” She stated that the rules for digital assets and cryptocurrencies should be simple and easy to understand and stressed that they should not be “too restrictive” because we want to see more innovation in this area.

Lummis announced last year that she is a Bitcoin holder and said the cryptocurrency is a great store of value. “I noticed how innovative Bitcoin is with its decentralized public ledger and a fixed offer,” she said at the time.

The senator wants to convince her congress colleagues of the advantages of Bitcoin. “I want to make sure everyone understands that this is a great store of value,” she said earlier.

Senator Lummis isn’t the only one planning to take advantage of the falling Bitcoin price and buy the dip. Microstrategy has just bought 13,005 bitcoins and Rich Dad Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki recently announced that he is waiting for the BTC price to drop to $ 24,000 to buy more coins.
