DApp uses sustainable computing power for cloud and volunteer computing – press release Bitcoin News
Press release
PRESS RELEASE. With an ever increasing demand for computing power, PORT network launches the first dApp that brings both cloud and volunteer computing together in the blockchain.
June 28, 2021, Dusseldorf, Germany – The need for increased computing power is growing exponentially. Industries such as IoT, Pharma, AI, 3D image processing and deep learning all require enormous bandwidth in a non-restrictive and cost-efficient approach.
PORT Network wants to break new ground here. PORT Network is the first decentralized P2P application that combines both cloud and volunteer computing on the blockchain.
Unused computing power by individuals and companies can be sold for the native PORT token. Private and corporate companies can then purchase this unused resource to increase their bandwidth and processing power. In short, PORT not only promotes the sustainable sharing of resources, it also enables companies to focus their energy on building.
This enables companies, often in the scientific field, to have the extra computing power needed to perform complex calculations at high speed in a fraction of the time compared to internal computers. The PORT network offers a scalable solution and consumers can buy as little or as much electricity as they need. The resulting opportunities and savings are enormous and the benefits can be felt in all industries and sectors.
“Sustainable energy is the future.” Said CEO Janusz Siuda. He continued:
“The PORT network uses unused computing power. This gives consumers both the extra power when needed and the creation of an environmentally friendly ecosystem. ”
The advantages of the PORT network
- Anyone with unused CPU power and / or memory can earn PORT tokens, which can be redeemed for additional computing power or traded on exchanges
- Save the planet: PORT uses existing computing power, which is a must in today’s environmentally conscious world, instead of generating new and unnecessary electricity
- High performance computer consumers can purchase PORT and implement this enhanced performance into their own systems quickly and inexpensively
- Offers a far more cost-effective alternative to existing, cumbersome cloud services
Coming / timetable
- The platform’s native PORT token sale will start in the third quarter of 2021, with PORT being offered for sale for later use within the platform.
- 4th quarter 2021: software launch. PORT Listed on DEXs and CEXs that give token holders the ability to trade PORT on exchanges.
- Q1 2022: TV advertising campaign and continued online marketing presence following the completion of the token sale.
PORT token sale
The PORT Token Sale is currently running. Port Network has provided 50,000,000 PORT tokens of the 100,000,000 in existence to be sold in a tiered deployment. Port Network has set a hard cap of $ 22,500,000 and token sales will run through Q4 2021.
