Binance NFT Marketplace starts with artwork by Dali, Warhol and “100 Creators” – Bitcoin News

The cryptocurrency exchange Binance launched its NFT marketplace on Thursday. The platform enables users, including artists, creators, and crypto enthusiasts, to mint and trade non-fungible tokens (NFTs). It uses Binance’s blockchain infrastructure and offers various forms of digital artwork and collectibles.

NFT Collection brings together famous artists in a “Genesis” auction

The long-awaited Binance NFT Marketplace is now live, announced the world’s leading exchange for digital assets. The platform kicks off with a premium event auction called “Genesis”, its first “Mystery Box” collection, and the launch of the recently announced “100 Creators” program, which showcases NFT content from local talent from around the world.

The “Genesis” auction offers digitized NFT works of art by the famous Spanish surrealist Salvador Dali and a homage to the icon of the pop art movement Andy Warhol. The collection combines Dali’s “Divine Comedy: Rebeget” and three self-portraits by Warhol, “Nirvana”, “Vitality” and “Harmony”. The auction for the “Genesis” collection starts on June 24th and lasts for the next five days.

The Binance NFT Marketplace also offers users the opportunity to activate special NFTs. Each of the platform’s “mystery boxes” will have a token that “includes content from extremely rare limited edition NFTs to more common collector’s items,” the exchange said.

The first collection, entitled “tokidoki”, includes 16 iconic designs with three exclusive characters from the Binance brand, which can only be drawn from “tokidoki X Binance NFT All Stars Mystery Box Series 1”. 10 winners selected from among eligible users will receive a Golden Binance Dragon Unicorno NFT. You need to collect 15 different editions of ‘tokidoki’ NFTs to participate.

‘100 Creators’ program to present talent from all over the world on the Binance NFT Marketplace

Binance has also opened the NFT marketplace for its “100 Creators” initiative. The main goal of the program is to put regional talent in the spotlight. Users will be able to browse NFT content starting Thursday, and additional works will be listed for the first week after launch. In a press release published on Monday, the crypto exchange stated:

Creators who publish NFTs under the 100 Creators Program will regularly publish their NFTs on our marketplace. Follow your favorite creators on social media so you won’t miss a thing when their NFT drops go live!

“100 Creators” was founded as a platform to present works of art by talented artists and everyday creators around the world. Binance has vowed to maintain a “creator-first” approach, with the NFT marketplace charging a low 1% processing fee, while creators and artists receive a 1% lifetime license for every sale or trade of an NFT.

The Binance NFT Marketplace uses the blockchain infrastructure of the global crypto exchange and is the latest addition to its product line. A Binance account is required to access the platform. Users who register within a month of the launch date and buy their first NFT will be rewarded with a limited edition NFT, the exchange promised.
